„Monday, August 18, 1969.
All night the crowd has waited. Jimi Hendrix was to close the festival but there was endless delays. At last, as the sun rises in this spectacle of biblical proportions, Jimi takes the stage.
But instead of his British Power trio, it is THE GYPSY SUN & RAINBOWS BAND, making its experimental debut. For those who stayed and for those who see this film, this will be his most celebrated performance.„
